This package offers travelers an authentic and immersive 10 days of travel. Travelers will venture into Central Bhutan visiting Bumthang and Trongsa. Bumthang in particular is considered by many to be Bhutan’s most beautiful valley and is home to several of its most sacred sites. Along with this, travelers will visit subtropical Punakha, the capital city of Thimphu and end the trip at Paro with a hike to Tiger’s Nest.

Welcome to the Kingdom of Bhutan! Your tour guide and driver be awaiting your arrival. Today will be spent exploring Paro town. If you have enough energy, we will visit Kyichu Lhakang, one of the oldest and most beautiful temples in Bhutan. We will spend the evening exploring Paro town.
Today we head back to Paro Airport and fly to Bumthang. The flight only takes 30 minutes. Once we arrive, we will explore Jakar town and its surroundings.
Today will be spent visiting the iconic Membartsho. After that, we will visit the beautiful Ogyen Choling Palace. This is one of the best maintained palaces in Bhutan.
Today we will journey to Trongsa. A sleepy town with close ties to the royal family. The highlight will be a visit to majestic Trongsa Dzong.
After breakfast, we will drive to the beautiful Phobjika valley. We will visit Gangtey Goempa and after this, hike through the Gangtey Nature Trail.
Today we will drive to Punakha and visit what many consider to be Bhutan’s most beautiful building, Punakha Dzong. After this, we will make a trip to Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge. The bridge offers stunning views of Punakha valley.
As we exit Punakha, we will make a stop at Bhutan’s fertility temple, Chimmi Lhakang. Entering Thimphu, we will stop by Dochula Pass and visit its 108 stupas. Once we arrive at Thimphu, we will visit the Memorial Chorten. The rest of the evening will be spent walking around Thimphu.
In the morning, we will visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue. This is the world’s largest sitting Buddha. The site offers spectacular views of Thimphu city. After this, you will have the rest of the day to explore Thimphu. Our PDF guide offers numerous recommendations on the best shops, cafes and restaurants in the city.
We will start the day with a short hike to Wangditse. Following this we will visit Pangri Zampa. You may consult the astrologer here for advice on which prayer flags will best benefit you. In the evening, we will drive back to Paro.
Your final day will be dedicated to climbing Taktsang, also known as Tiger’s Nest. This is one of Bhutan’s holiest and most culturally significant sites. Hiking too, and back from the temple will take 4 – 6 hours. This is a truly stunning hike to a special site.
After breakfast, we will drive back to the airport for your departure flight. We bid you farewell and hope to see you again! Tashi Delek!
